Summary

Join Northbeam's post-sales Onboarding team as a Solutions Engineer, working closely with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to provide exceptional support to new customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience preferred, but not required
  • Understanding of google tag manager or other tag based management tools
  • Basic understanding of how modern websites are built from a high level (asset serving, server rendering, etc)
  • 2+ years of software engineering or support engineering experience
  • Proficiency in writing and editing SQL queries
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML (basics)
  • Experience with Web based APIs
  • 2+ years of experience speaking with customers
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into easy to follow documentation / emails / directions

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support new customers as they integrate our analytics product into their ecommerce infrastructure to enable Northbeam attribution, and assess challenges if troubleshooting is required
  • Validate pixel installations, ad platform connections, and orders data to ensure data quality
  • Help customers resolve issues by analyzing their implementation, including scripts (such as Pixel, Orders API),escalating to the engineering team when appropriate
  • Help work through customer data discrepancies to ensure accuracy
  • Continuously improve outward-facing documentation to enable smoother and more self-serve customer processes
  • Clearly communicate the nuances of each customer’s setup to our internal teams in order to ensure smooth handoff from Onboarding to Customer Success

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in modern web development tools (nextjs, react, vue)
  • Experience with ecommerce store platforms (shopify, salesforce, etc)
  • Experience with Administrator tooling: Retool, ActiveAdmin, Django Admin, or other similar tools
  • Experience with Python
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools
