Solutions Engineer - Spanish Speaking

Summary

Join the Sui Foundation's Solutions Engineering team as a hands-on engineer to design, build, and scale applications on the Sui blockchain. You will play a key role in expanding the adoption of Sui & Move technologies by developing smart contracts, creating innovative solutions, and empowering other software engineers. This role requires building full-stack applications, designing and implementing smart contracts in Move, creating technical demos and tools, collaborating with educators, and providing technical guidance to developers. The ideal candidate possesses strong full-stack development skills with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, SQL, and Redis, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Professional fluency in Spanish is required. The position is fully remote and offers tremendous growth potential within a fast-moving Web3 ecosystem.

Requirements

• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend development
• Strong understanding of Next.js and Node.js for backend logic, APIs, and server-side rendering
• Experience with SQL databases and Redis in a real-world, production setting
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for building clean, responsive UIs
• Ability to debug, profile, and optimize full-stack applications
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, collaborative mindset
• Approachable, open to feedback, and enjoy working closely with others to solve problems and share knowledge
• Professional fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required for this role

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js with SQL and Key-Value storage technologies for data management
• Design and implement smart contracts using the Move programming language to support real-world use cases and learning scenarios
• Create high-quality technical demos, internal tools, and reference applications that illustrate how to build on Sui and interact with the Move programming language
• Collaborate with developer educators to support workshops, live coding sessions, and educational content
• Provide technical guidance to developers integrating Sui into their own applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to blockchain, Web3, or smart contract development
• Technical Teaching or Education Experience
• Demonstrated ability to teach or mentor developers through courses, bootcamps, workshops, or community engagement
• Comfort leading workshops, writing technical guides, or presenting to developer audiences
