Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ years of working experience in the energy industry
  • Financial modeling expertise using Microsoft Excel or other modeling programs
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of wind, solar, battery storage, and load project development, from early-stage strategy through to start of construction
  • Day-to-day management of project budgets, schedules, and development tools
  • Own financial modeling and analysis to advise key transactions as well as evaluate and frame project development risks and opportunities
  • Support counterparty relationships and contract negotiations with transmission utilities, consultants, land agents, attorneys, etc
  • Prepare materials for senior management team and capital deployment committees
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with other internal teams including development, engineering, origination, and finance as well as external counterparties including consultants

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in energy markets or renewable energy project development is preferred
