Summary

Join Blavity, Inc. as an Email Producer and play an integral role in the Audience Growth team. This hourly W2 contract position involves building and delivering engaging marketing communications to boost customer acquisition and retention. You will execute email marketing campaigns, focusing on development, automation workflows, and A/B testing to optimize the customer journey. Collaborate closely with editorial, data intelligence, and advertising operations teams. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about developing in-house email programs. This fully remote, U.S.-based role requires 80% alignment with the Eastern Time Zone. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of email marketing, including experience with email deployment tools
  • Understanding of relational databases and data schema

Responsibilities

  • Produce and schedule content and assets into email service provider across several brands within specified timeframes
  • Analyze and plan email content to engage users across specific audiences toward department and company goals
  • Utilize graphic design tools to create high-quality and engaging media to be implemented in email
  • Engage specific audiences though response emails by implementing conditional content and range of segments
  • Execute marketing and automated email campaigns to drive email messages through HTML/CSS, existing drag-and-drop templates, and automated campaigns
  • Review calendars, manage email workflow tools and support campaign kickoffs
  • Proactively request more information from Editorial and manage timeline for email needs
  • Build emails and manage template library, ensuring email best practices, mobile responsiveness and rendering across all email clients and devices are in place
  • Responsible for email proofing, quality assurance process, advanced scheduling and final send/automation parameters
  • Configure user initiated sends and A/B deployment tests
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance on best email practices and leverage technology to drive innovation and engaging email content
  • Work closely with Editorial and Client Services teams for content and email development processes
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • HTML/CSS coding for email
  • Google Suite, Asana, Microsoft Office, Data Analytics tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Interest in learning new platforms and programs
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Desire to shape new processes and continuously optimize
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements of email marketing (privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM, data management)
