Sql Migration Specialist

You will create scripts for data extraction, cleansing, and testing, collaborate with stakeholders, and document findings. This position requires 5+ years of SQL data analysis experience, specifically in migration projects, along with strong communication skills. The ability to start immediately and possess a work permit within the European Union is also required.

Requirements

• Ability to start immediately
• 5+ years of SQL data analysis experience, preferably for migration purposes
• Demonstrable migration experience
• Experience writing SQL scripts
• Experience with testing for data & analysis purposes
• Understanding new systems by discussing requirements with business and technical people
• Ability to translate data into business functions and DQ risks
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required

Responsibilities

• Perform data exploration and analysis to clarify migration requirements
• Create scripts for extraction the right data from source systems
• Create scripts for data cleansing
• Discuss requirements with business and technical stakeholders
• Document findings and issues
• Create test plans and test scripts for testing the migrations
• Analyze and troubleshoot migration findings
• Prepare the migration runbooks
