Summary

The Senior NASA Animator will create 3D animations and models for NASA projects at Centuria Corporation under the NASA NCAPS contract. The job requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 8+ years of experience.

• 8+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and create high-quality 3D animations and models for various NASA projects
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements
• Use advanced 3D design and animation software to create detailed and realistic visualizations
• Ensure all animations and models adhere to NASA's standards for scientific accuracy and visual quality
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing deadlines and priorities
• Stay current with advancements in 3D design and animation technologies
• Participate in team meetings and project reviews, providing input and feedback on design and animation concepts
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to 3D design processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on space or scientific projects, particularly in a research or aerospace context
• Familiarity with NASA’s mission and goals, and an understanding of space exploration concepts
• Knowledge of real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine)
• Experience with motion capture and integration into 3D animations
