Summary

NTD Software is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to develop automated testing procedures for their software applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with product and development teams, design and implement an automation framework, conduct functional testing, and communicate progress effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Fluent English
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation using Java
• Experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Solid understanding of programming concepts and their application in testing
• Ability to work with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience in testing REST APIs and creating mock services
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Ability to report issues and bugs in a clear and understandable manner for all stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Understand client goals and expectations to ensure that the testing approach aligns with business objectives
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to design and implement a robust and maintainable automation framework
• Analyze acceptance criteria and use case scenarios to develop clear, effective, and maintainable test cases
• Conduct functional testing during code development to identify any issues early in the process
• Develop code to automate the execution of tests
• Assist developers with unit testing, offering guidance on best practices and identifying potential pitfalls
• Communicate progress, risks, and testing results effectively with team members and stakeholders
