Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate credit card accounting, which includes collecting, reviewing and reconciling transaction receipts to credit card statements
  • Assist in preparing prepaid expense journal entries and related amortization
  • Maintain the fixed assets module by recording fixed asset additions, disposals and depreciation entries in the general ledger system.Β  Perform regular reviews for impairment indicators
  • Assist in monitoring and preparing of monthly vendor expense accruals
  • Prepare journal entries for transactions within areas of responsibility, including proper identification of expense coding, accounting period, cost center and location
  • Communicate regularly with key business partners, including FP&A, accounts payable and procurement teams
  • Prepare account reconciliations for all general ledger accounts within areas of responsibility
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements by performing analytical procedures on accounts in areas of responsibility
  • Support the preparation of audit schedules for assigned areas of responsibility and providing support for selected audit requests
  • Assist with various ad-hoc requests and special projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a CPA license or be actively pursuing a CPA license
  • Have healthcare/SaaS experience
  • Have 2+ years of experience in either public accounting or an accounting role with a public company
  • Possess thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
  • Have NetSuite experience
  • Possess working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
