Staff Accountant in United States

Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Staff Accountant to join our accounting team at CorDx, a global health focused biotech organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and 3-5 years of experience. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing monthly bank reconciliations, assisting in budget preparation, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and providing training to junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices; familiarity with GAAP and other relevant standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across departments

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Experience with advanced accounting software and ERP systems
• Previous experience in Biotech or manufacturing industry
