Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting policies
  • Strong general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and systems knowledge
  • Exceptional Google Sheet and Excel/financial modeling skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability and willingness to execute and build from the ground up, with a β€œno task too small” mindset
  • Strong familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606
  • Experience using Quickbooks Online or similar accounting platform
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Own all accounting activities
  • Build standardized financial and accounting processes and policies; strengthen internal controls
  • Support the month-end close processes and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders; perform reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis
  • Perform budget vs. actuals reporting with key stakeholders
  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Manage all of Treasury, inclusive of AR and AP activity
  • Maintain our cash flow projections
  • Manage Revenue and Expense functions, own our expense management platform (we use Ramp)
  • Ensure proper US GAAP accounting procedures have been followed
  • Assist with tax compliance and filing of quarterly and year end tax returns
  • Partner with Legal on establishing any foreign entities
  • Assist FinOps with reconciling payments via Stripe
  • Help monitor financial performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Ramp, Carta, Looker (BI), Bill.com, Justworks are all a plus
