Staff Accountant in Worldwide

Summary

Garner is a healthcare company focused on transforming the healthcare economy by helping employers restructure their healthcare benefits to provide clear incentives and data-driven insights. They are looking for a Staff Accountant to support their accounting team with day-to-day general ledgering activities, accounts payable operations, and client claims reconciliations. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations, knowledge of journal entries and basic financial concepts, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, excellent organization and time management skills, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, a willingness to work hard, and experience in a rapidly evolving startup environment. Garner values mission-first, expects extraordinary results, practices courageous communication, and fosters a supportive community. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
• Knowledge of journal entries and basic financial concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel, and experience in accounting software preferred
• Excellent organization and time management
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Responsibilities
