Staff Accountant

This role involves working closely with the accounting team, assisting with financial reporting and audits, and overseeing daily transaction processing. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in financial accounting and strong technical skills in GAAP accounting and Excel. Compensation ranges from $800-$2000 USD per month, depending on experience and skills. The position is for an independent contractor working remotely.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a financial accounting role, or demonstrated success in managing multiple transaction processing areas
• Strong technical skills in GAAP accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with staff and peers

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the accounting team on a daily basis
• Assist with financial reporting and external audit preparation
• Help oversee the daily transaction processing for various accounting functions
• Contribute to a variety of tasks to ensure smooth financial operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-unit retail, restaurant, or entertainment environment is preferred
• Familiarity with Vista Cinema for Box Office Sales, Toast for F&B POS, Restaurant 365 for inventory control, back-office processing, and financial reporting, and ADP for payroll and HR is a plus

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $800 - $2,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
