Staff Accountant

Summary

Join Synapticure, a patient and caregiver-founded virtual care company, as a key member of the finance team. You will manage day-to-day booking and cash flow across multiple entities, conduct audits, generate reports, and reconcile accounts receivable. Requirements

• Be well organized, a self-starter who is interested in fast growing companies with room for growth and leadership
• Have an Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Have knowledge of statutory accounting principles
• Have supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day booking and management of cash flow across multiple entities, including booking cross entity staffing and related payments
• Perform periodic audits and generate audit reports and reconcile and review accounts receivable
• Assist the Revenue Cycle Manager with medical billing and claims audits, to ensure proper reconciliation of outstanding accounts receivable
• Support the development of budget and budget narrative of investor funding as directed by the CFO
• Develop and maintain close out procedures and reports
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with intercompany accounting and healthcare services
• Have a background in credentialing, commercial billing, or insurance
