Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of Bill.com, Quickbooks Online, Google Sheets/Excel

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation for accounts payable and purchasing
  • Process all accounts payable bills in Bill.com, communicating with vendors to obtain bills timely, and assigning appropriate approvers
  • Ensure that all vendors are properly set up in Bill.com and a W9 is on file
  • Provide expense reimbursement guidance and process expense reports, ensuring IRS compliance and company policy compliance
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, including accrued and prepaid expenses, and additional Balance Sheet accounts
  • Perform income statement analysis for consistency, accuracy and trends
  • Support invoice generation and distribution to customers
  • Register for state withholding and unemployment tax registrations
  • Assist the Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager and Controller as needed
