Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in revenue accounting or related fields
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management and reporting of the company’s revenue
  • Process and record revenue transactions
  • Ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with accounting standards
  • Review and analyze contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure all revenue-related accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved promptly
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identify and correct errors and prepare reconciliation for management review on a monthly basis
  • Review customer invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support Billing to identify billing errors, resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries related to billing and revenue
  • Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support
  • Ensure all work is done with attention to detail and ability to work independently
