Join Toast as a Staff Data Analyst (Operations) and lead critical analytics projects focused on optimizing enterprise application systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and RevPro. Requirements
- Experience working in data analytics, preferably with a focus on operational data and enterprise applications at a technology company (or similar environment)
- Strong familiarity with analyzing data from systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and RevPro
- Seasoned in transforming complex data into clear, actionable strategies for diverse audiences
- Thorough understanding of core operational metrics, system/workflow performance analysis, and associated analytical methods
- Adept at using SQL and Python/R for data modeling and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions)
- Ability to effectively serve as a thought leader (and driver) for how data, analytics, and intelligence can be leveraged in solving business problems
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations leaders to transform analytical insights into clear narratives and actionable strategies
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams (Marketing/Sales, Finance/Accounting, Customer Experience, Engineering) to ensure data integrity and alignment on key operational metrics related to our enterprise applications
- Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system health, workflow efficiency, and data quality within our core operational systems
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify key drivers of system performance, workflow bottlenecks, and data anomalies within systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and RevPro
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to operational systems
- Design and evaluate experiments to test hypotheses and quantify the impact of operational improvements related to these systems
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and operational systems management to drive innovation within the team
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of data-informed decision-making across the organization, specifically related to operational data

- The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience
- In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible)
