Staff Product Designer

Requirements

• Be proficient in end-to-end product design, including product strategy, jobs to be done for a given user, journey mapping, prototyping, user testing, and high fidelity visuals
• Be skilled in crafting beautiful and usable designs, with strengths in visual and interaction design
• Have an understanding of programming and technical tools such as Git or VSCode
• Embrace a growth mindset and actively seek professional development opportunities
• Have great communication skills and actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines

Responsibilities

• Design features and improvements that are high quality, and ship quickly
• Use and evolve our internal design system
• Design new features from scratch and iterate on existing features to improve them
• Build prototypes using the right tool at the right time to match the problem your solving with that prototype
• Act as a design leader within the Product team, collaborating with PMs and other designers to improve the quality of all our work
• Speak with customers to understand their jobs, their motivations, and their challenges to help us design an impactful product
• Work with one or more engineering squads to shape and mature an early-stage analytics product
• Play a key role in defining Noibu’s design strategy at a high level, and helping the team execute that strategy in our product design and features
