Summary

Join Vanta, a company dedicated to securing the internet and protecting consumer data, as a Staff Product Designer. You will play a key role in establishing our product design presence in Europe, designing features for our Privacy & Data Security product that integrate privacy workflows, AI governance, and data security. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver a high-quality user experience, focusing on boosting user efficiency and providing proactive insights. This role requires significant experience in B2B SaaS product design and a proven track record of success. As our first Design hire in London, you will have a significant impact on our product development and help shape the future of our design team.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience delivering high-quality B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact
  • Independent in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy and define design directions
  • Skilled in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution for entire product areas
  • Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex problem-solving
  • Proven success in driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and strong product sensibility
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling
  • Portfolio required, showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic projects that deliver substantial customer value and impact multiple departments
  • Conduct customer discovery to inform product strategy, helping to craft compelling narratives that support the vision and objectives
  • Identify and lead design-driven initiatives with organization-wide impact
  • Enhance the influence of the Design organization by working openly, sharing customer insights, communicating design solutions, and improving the ways we work
  • Mentor other designers, helping to refine concepts and elevate design quality
  • Contribute to and refine our design system to ensure it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining consistent, high-quality design standards

Preferred Qualifications
