Summary

Join SimSpace as a Staff Technical Program Manager and drive coordination, tracking, and process management across multiple R&D teams. You will facilitate communication, track status, remove roadblocks, and refine processes to ensure smooth project execution. Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience in program or project management for software development initiatives
  • You have deep knowledge and experience with JIRA - creating dashboards, label and tag work for reporting, JQL knowledge and knowledge in additional engineering insight tools such as, linearB, JellyFish or others
  • You have proven experience operating as part of a software development organization
  • You have detailed experience with Agile, Scrum or similar methodologies
  • You thrive in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, working with multiple teams without direct authority
  • You excel at clear, concise communication, translating technical updates into meaningful insights for diverse audiences
  • You are organized and detail-oriented, able to track multiple projects and dependencies without losing sight of the big picture
  • You have a customer-first mindset and strong judgment in balancing competing priorities
  • You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-changing technical environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-team coordination – ensure alignment across multiple R&D teams, tracking status, dependencies, and risks to keep programs moving forward
  • Improve visibility – create dashboards and reports to provide clear, up-to-date status to executives and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication – act as a central point of contact between R&D, Product, IT, and other business units to ensure smooth collaboration
  • Refine processes – identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce friction in product development and delivery
  • Support prioritization – partner with Product Management to integrate customer feedback and business priorities into the development roadmap
  • Enable onboarding and execution – help teams onboard new processes, ensuring smooth adoption and tracking of key initiatives
  • Guide and support – drive best practices for program management, helping teams stay focused and accountable without adding unnecessary overhead

Preferred Qualifications

  • An active PMI certification is highly preferred but not required
  • Past experience as a Scrum Master is highly preferred but not required
