Strategic Finance Manager

Join TRM Labs as a Strategic Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial trajectory during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will establish the Strategic Finance function, driving long-term and short-term financial planning. You will develop financial models, forecast performance, manage budgets, and define key business metrics. This highly cross-functional role involves collaboration with various departments and stakeholders, influencing strategic decision-making and ensuring alignment between investment plans and financial goals. The position requires significant experience in finance, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience across private equity, investment banking, consulting, VC, or Finance at a high-growth technology company
• Passion for financial modeling, data analysis, and collaborating with business leaders to build and execute financial plans successfully
• Advanced understanding of GAAP financial statements
• Rigorous analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Track record of successful collaboration with executives and investors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including at the executive level
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguous situations
• A desire to join a startup, move fast, and make critical contributions to the success of the company

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead the company long-term (multi-year) and short-term (annually or semi-annually) planning processes
• Develop and own financial models to support financial planning, strategic decisions, and major initiatives
• Establish processes and systems to forecast and report on financial performance, manage budgets, and facilitate decisions on major investments in partnership with the business
• Define and report on the key business metrics, proactively analyze business trends and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Play a critical role in fundraising, M&A, Board of Directors communications, and investor relations

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
