Summary
Join Shields Health Solutions' Strategic Operations team and contribute to the execution of company priorities, including strategy, growth, operational improvements, and business development. This hands-on, analytical role will support the Operations leadership team in achieving excellent clinical, operational, and financial performance for Shields' health system specialty pharmacy partnerships. You will manage cross-functional projects, provide data-driven insights, and collaborate with various teams. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, highly resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree
- 1-3 years work experience, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a strategy role in a high-growth, healthcare start up environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude - willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and work cross functionally to make things happen quickly
- Must be highly motivated, results-driven professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in summarizing and presenting Company results in formal Management or Board of Director settings
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling and data visualization
- Analytically oriented; makes and defends decisions based on hard data
- Hard worker and self-starter who is able to work independently, with limited oversight from managers
- Effective at multi-tasking; someone who enjoys and thrives wearing multiple hats at once
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the regional Operations leadership teams to identify and execute on health system partnership priorities
- Support Regional Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations to facilitate successful financial, operational and clinical outcomes for Shieldsโ partnerships
- Assist in day-to-day strategy and operations for the region
- Facilitate internal discussions with operations and cross-functional teams collaboration to advance the strategic priorities of health system partnerships
- Develop financial forecasts and detailed data analyses to support decision making
- Assist in facilitating effective decision-making through analysis and execution of strategic projects
- Act as key member of the Strategic Operations team to drive growth across the organization
- Work on projects as directed by the Executive Leadership Team to execute on key business priorities & corporate strategies
- Support the execution of operational and strategic initiatives
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the C-Suite to facilitate efficient decision making
- Proactively pursue ancillary business and growth opportunities
