This is a remote position requiring a minimum internet speed of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role in an IT environment
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and project management methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage complex IT programs, ensuring alignment with ACE strategic goals
- Drive successful project execution across the organization
- Work with Sr. leadership to create long-term strategic roadmaps for IT initiatives that align with business goals
- Establish clear objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for various IT programs and projects
- Determine the IT resources (human, financial, technical) needed for program success
- Keep track of progress towards IT strategic goals and timelines, ensuring projects stay on schedule
- Address any roadblocks or issues that arise during program execution, whether they are technical, resource-related, or operational
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure that the program progresses smoothly
- Regularly update senior management and other stakeholders on program status, risks, and issues
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with other teams to ensure program alignment while addressing challenges
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, managing expectations and ensuring program outcomes align with business needs
- Oversee the IT financial health by managing budgets and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints
- Actively manage the department budget ensuring financial efficiency and accountability
- Identify opportunities for cost savings or better resource allocation within the program
- Manage IT relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that external partners meet expectations
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams working on various projects within IT
- Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations for team members
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams to improve IT program delivery
- Ensure that the team and IT programs comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Analyze team and program performance post-completion and identify areas for improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus
