Join Matomo as an Intermediate Strategic Project Manager and play a crucial role in delivering global projects successfully. Reporting to the COO and Head of People & Culture, you will ensure projects are on time, within scope, and meet high standards. You will drive accountability across teams, manage project plans, and monitor performance. This is a remote position offering a flexible work environment and various benefits. Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
  • A results-driven approach with the ability to foster and drive accountability across teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships in a global team
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate challenges and propose effective solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver global projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, deliverables, resource allocation, and dependencies
  • Foster a culture of accountability by clearly defining roles, expectations, and deliverables for all team members
  • Drive project disciplines, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones
  • Regularly review and refine project plans to adapt to shifting priorities or challenges, ensuring the team remains focused on outcomes
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and stakeholder updates
  • Facilitate transparent communication across global teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Provide support to the SLT in aligning projects with the organisation’s strategic goals
  • Champion project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with analytics or data-focused projects is an advantage
