Strategic Sourcing - Senior Lead

Summary

Join Xplor's Finance team as a Strategic Sourcing - Senior Lead and assist the VP of Global Procurement in implementing a Procure-to-Pay system. You will manage this system with the AP team, create and report spend data analysis, and drive cost reduction while ensuring Xplor's sourcing supports business growth. Manage supplier engagements from concept to execution, maintain a funnel of savings opportunities, and track savings achievements. Report KPIs, preferred supplier adoption, and exceptions to business partners, while ensuring compliance with Xplor's policies and standards. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in technology sourcing and building strong internal relationships. Requirements

• Advanced skillset, preferrably in technology sourcing to identify spend savings opportunities and manage from sourcing through implementation
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting the VP of Global procurement in implementing a Procure to Pay system
• Managing the Procure to Pay system with the AP team
• Creating and reporting spend data analysis
• Driving cost out while ensuring Xplor is sourced to support / grow business
• Managing supplier engagements - concept through execution; (scope, RFP, negotiations, supplier awarding, contract execution, supplier migration / implementation)
• Maintaining a funnel of savings opportunities. Identifies and tracks opportunities, documents sourcing priorities and roadmap of sourcing activities
• Maintaining a savings achievement tracker (in sync with finance for forecasting)
• Reporting: KPIs, preferred supplier adoption, exception reporting & business partner reporting
• Complying with Xplor policy and standards: Terms and Conditions (payment terms, break clauses, engage legal for Xplor standard wording, disclosures, engages legal, business partner inputs, proper contact approvals, Procurement policy, etc
• Ensuring contracts and commercial agreements are being followed and recorded in Xplor contract repository
