Summary

Join MGID, a rapidly growing digital advertising company, as a Client Success Manager in their expanding German team. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing partnerships with key publishers in the DACH market, ensuring a steady flow of traffic from top clients, and optimizing performance to achieve positive revenue balance. This role involves daily monitoring, client communication, negotiation of new monetization strategies, and close collaboration with the internal team. You will play a strategic role in driving client success and long-term partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor to guide their success and unlock new revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role within the digital media or online publishing sector
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills, dedicated to exceeding client expectations
  • Strong communication skills, efficient interaction with different personality types
  • Deep understanding of the German digital publishing and advertising market
  • Verifiable track record of closing major deals with publishers or advertisers
  • Strong analytical abilities to gather business insights by monitoring and interpreting data trends, understanding and interpreting the performance numbers
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, International Relations, International Business, Communications preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Excel or Google Sheets
  • Fluent in German & English – Confident in pitching and negotiating

Responsibilities

  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key publishers in the market
  • Daily monitoring and maintaining a steady flow of traffic coming from the top clients
  • Optimization to achieve a positive revenue balance or minimize the losses from the cooperation
  • Constantly being in contact with the publisher in order to support and respond to needs from the client's side
  • Negotiations regarding new ways of monetization and possible tests of new monetization solutions
  • Work in close cooperation with the internal team globally within the department and cross departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Connections with local publishers, media groups, warm contacts in Germany
  • Experience with Native Advertising is a strong plus
