Summary

Join Mae, a venture-backed digital health company dedicated to improving maternal health, as a Program Manager to support Medicaid payer partnerships and address racial disparities in maternal health outcomes. You will lead the implementation and management of key payer contracts, manage communication with clients and the Mae team, develop status updates and presentations, revise project plans, define and track success metrics, identify client pain points, collaborate with other departments, and lead internal progress tracking for assigned payer partners.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, able to manage time effectively, and comfortable working across multiple workstreams concurrently
  • 5-7 years of Medicaid Managed Care program / population experience or healthcare payer experience
  • 1-3 years Project Management experience, including leading a program end-to-end
  • Relationship management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Background/expertise in: maternal-child health, sexual & reproductive health, population health, Medicaid health policy, or other relevant fields

Responsibilities

  • Support contracting, planning, and deployment of payer pilots
  • Manage communication and relationship (phone, e-mail, meetings) with client and Mae team
  • Develop status updates, report outs, and presentations to client and internal team
  • Revise project plans / resources to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Define, measure, and track success metrics of each initiative
  • Identify client pain points and implement quick solutions
  • Collaborate internally with other departments to address areas for improvement and/or client requests
  • Leadย internal progress tracking and growth strategyย for assigned payer partners
