Summary
Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing tech-enabled hospitality brand, as their Supply Chain Lead. You will lead a team of Procurement Associates, optimizing procurement operations and vendor management. Responsibilities include process improvement, cost efficiency, and implementing technology solutions. You will conduct data analysis, manage vendor performance, and negotiate contracts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial for inventory management and order fulfillment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, 4+ years of procurement experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related Business field
- 4+ years experience of procurement experience; experience in hospitality, property management, or short-term rentals is a plus
- Strong track record in procurement process improvement, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations
- Experience with procurement management systems and an interest in leveraging technology to drive efficiency and transparency
- Analytical mindset with strong data skills; advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- A continuous improvement attitude β you challenge the status quo, ask thoughtful questions, and implement impactful solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Procurement team through all stages of the end-to-end procurement process
- Continuous process optimization; Audit internal workflows to eliminate friction, reduce costs, and improve speed at scale
- Design and implement sourcing strategies that leverage industry best practices and align with AvantStayβs growth goals
- Conduct regular data analysis and spend reporting to identify savings opportunities, manage budgets, and drive cost-reduction initiatives
- Research and implement technology solutions that automate workflows, enhance vendor performance tracking, and streamline procurement operations
- Analyze and manage vendor performance, holding vendors accountable to SLAs and AvantStay quality standards
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and terms that balance cost, quality, and reliability
- Work cross-functionally with Field Operations, Onboarding, and other stakeholders to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
- Oversee timely execution of purchase orders and ensure clear communication of order status and delivery updates to all stakeholders
- Design and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and long-term scalability
- Support product selection strategies to ensure our homes are furnished with high-quality, cost-effective items that enhance the guest experience
