Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management
  • You have experience in food product supply chain
  • You have previously sourced and procured brand new products
  • You have knowledge and experience of international customs regulations and requirements
  • You’re a confident communicator, experienced working with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
  • You’re able to use data to inform decision making
  • You take the initiative to get things done and offer creative solutions to operational challenges
  • You’re able to work in an ambiguous, changing environment and adapt quickly to new projects and objectives
  • You’re collaborative, positive, people-oriented and enthusiastic
  • You have technical experience using inventory management platforms

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for procurement operations across the new food category, supporting Vendor Management on minimising cost per unit and project teams in supporting new product development
  • Supporting procurement of existing inventory
  • Coordinating the import and export of goods to and from the UK and US from worldwide suppliers, and be responsible for inter-company transfers
  • Creating stock management processes for new products
  • Supporting cross-functional projects and optimising collaboration across departments
  • Supporting the launch of new products
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance for movement of goods
  • Optimising existing processes, including working closely with suppliers and Finance to maximise inventory turnover, weeks on hand and minimise shrinkage
  • Monitoring and analysing key operational metrics to assess inventory performance, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

It would be an added bonus if you have experience using BigQuery and SQL
