Support Engineer

Summary

Join Zipdev as a Technical Support Engineer and tackle complex technical issues within a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure a reliable user experience for our AI-driven platform used by small businesses. This high-ownership role demands strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. You will act as an escalation point for complex issues, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, collaborate on issue reproduction and documentation, and contribute to system reliability. Provide valuable customer feedback to enhance usability and support internal process improvements. This remote position offers a competitive benefits package.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical support, support engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role
• Strong troubleshooting skills for web applications, including APIs, OAuth, SAML/SSO, and browser-side issues
• Ability to read and debug code, preferably in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails
• Structured thinking, clear communication, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working in a high-growth, feedback-driven environment with a strong sense of ownership
• Currently living in LATAM
• Superior English fluency (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Act as an escalation point for complex technical support issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported bugs
• Collaborate with engineering to reproduce and document issues
• Contribute to system reliability and help reduce regressions
• Provide customer feedback to the product team to improve usability
• Support internal processes and documentation for ongoing improvements
