Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- At least three years of experience as a system administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems and servers
- Proficient in networking protocols, tools, and devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software components of the IT network and systems
- Monitor and optimize the performance and security of the IT network and systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff
- Backup and restore data and system configurations
- Document and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards
- Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
