System Analyst

Summary

Join Data Ideology as a Systems Analyst and provide analytical and technical support, defining business and system requirements, developing or maintaining applications, and delivering solutions aligning with IT and organizational goals. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions using your technical expertise and strategic thinking. Experience in Agile environments, excellent communication, and cross-functional team collaboration are essential. The role involves working with stakeholders, reviewing applications, participating in Agile ceremonies, collaborating with vendors, creating documentation, and providing support. Remote work is offered, with hours depending on client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Demonstrated intermediate understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), with the ability to apply its principles in day-to-day tasks
• Review, validate, and test functionality of application updates and new implementations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, team syncs/standups, and retrospectives
• Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues and support project initiatives
• Create and maintain system documentation and support end-user training efforts
• Assist with system integration tasks and generate reports based on business needs
• Provide second-level support for application issues, escalating when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies, familiarity with SAFe framework preferred
• Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Healthcare experience a plus
