Summary

The job is for a System Integration Analyst in an automotive Dealership Management System (DMS) company. The role involves working closely with engineering managers, OEMs, third-party providers, and stakeholders to design and develop software products that integrate with other systems and applications. The candidate will lead the requirements gathering process and ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Requirements

  • Experience working with DMS software integrations in the automotive industry
  • Experience with integrating software products with other systems and applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Working understanding of API frameworks, such as REST, and SOAP
  • Knowledge of database technologies, such as SQL
  • Knowledge of leveraging technology to deliver solutions
  • Excellent data analysis skill set with the ability to map and condense data models from disparate data sources
  • Strong understanding of security principles and integration best practices

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to identify and comply with API and application-level integration specifications
  • Analyze existing application and technology implementations and identify gaps to propose enhancements and optimizations
  • Collaborate and guide engineers and architects to develop complete and detailed data dictionary documents, design specifications, system diagrams, estimates, and project roadmaps related to integration initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering managers to successfully implement technical solutions
  • Participate in collaborative communication with OEM and third-party partners to ensure system compliance to specifications
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to make informed recommendations to clients and project teams
  • Ensure that all solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's quality standards
  • Contribute to the backlog by developing use cases and user stories related to integration scenarios both from an API and application perspective
  • Conduct detailed analysis of data dictionary objects and develop data mapping scenarios for all integration points from client application data to vendor partner data
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support as needed during implementation
  • Hand walk OEM certifications to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred
  • This is a fully remote role
