Requirements

- 3+ years in a technical support or systems administration role with a strong Linux background
- Solid experience in remote troubleshooting (SSH, VPN tunnels) and diagnosing system/network issues
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase)
- Familiarity with Windows environments (basic workstation configuration and troubleshooting)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a passion for solving problems and delivering solutions
- Excellent time-management, analytical, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical support for both server-side and client-side applications in complex medical imaging environments
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and ticketing systems, while proactively monitoring installations and identifying potential issues before they escalate
- Prioritize and manage tasks in line with service level agreements (SLAs), escalating incidents to the appropriate teams when needed
- Analyze and troubleshoot integrated environments involving Linux servers, Windows workstations, databases, and network infrastructure
- Perform remote diagnostics using tools like SSH and VPN to investigate and resolve technical problems
- Execute SQL queries and conduct database maintenance on platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Sybase
- Edit configuration files and scripts on Linux servers to fine-tune system performance and reliability
- Serves as a client advocate through product and implementation improvement collaboration
- Log and document all activities and outcomes using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing
- Continuously contribute to our knowledge base, support tools, and internal documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare IT or medical imaging industry (e.g., PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7)
- Hands-on experience with the deployment and integration of Healthcare IT solutions in On-Premises, Hybrid, and Cloud environments
- Exposure to scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell for automation and system management
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, IPSec, and VPN technologies
