Summary
The job is for a full-time Systems Analyst or Business Technology Analyst working remotely (preferably in the US Eastern Time Zone) at Enterra, a company specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field, with prior experience in creating and documenting technology specs in a business operations role, ideally in a software company.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field
- Prior experience of working in a role focused on creating and documenting technology specs in a business operations, ideally in a software company
- A minimum of 3 years of current, hands-on experience as a systems analyst or business technology analyst
- Knowledge of cloud environments (g., AWS, Azure)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CD pipeline tools (Jira, BitBucket)
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task across tasks and projects within required deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with business and technical personnel both internally and externally
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to build structure and take a proactive approach to drive results
- Attention to detail β quality and accuracy in work is essential
Responsibilities
- Develop the functional and technical specifications required to enhance existing solutions and build new ones
- Interface with product owners to understand and document functional requirements
- Collaborate across the product management, client services and engineering teams, including business SMEs, analysts, developers, and engineers
- Work closely with leadership to understand challenges and collaborate on solutions to support the development and refinement of Enterraβs products
- Liaise between different teams across Enterra to ensure intended outcomes are met in the solution development
- Develop release notes, feature documentation, and any needed materials to help developers and engineers in the building and testing of the solution features and on-going enhancements
- Support Client services in their development of training materials
- Ensure that documentation standards, including repositories, are adhered to. This includes updating documentation, post testing and release
- Contribute to the structure and design of solution components for use by the end users i.e., editors, reports and other visuals
- Manage timely delivery of assigned tasks
- Participate in regular SDLC activities ranging from estimation, status reporting, SCRUM sessions, design meetings, code reviews etc
