Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows infrastructure environments
  • Proven expertise in Azure core services, including VMs, networking, storage, security, and automation tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including email, collaboration, and productivity tools
  • Experience with file auditing and compliance solutions (e.g., Varonis, Netwrix, or equivalent)
  • In-depth experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure and Windows infrastructure environments to meet business and operational needs
  • Support and manage Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Deploy and maintain file auditing solutions, ensuring data security and compliance
  • Troubleshoot and manage servers and services in both private vSphere environments and client Microsoft Azure tenants
  • Configure and administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments
  • Oversee and implement best practices for patching, backups, and monitoring to ensure system availability and security
  • Lead and execute migrations of systems and applications from private infrastructure to cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Proactively identify and address infrastructure challenges, delivering scalable and secure solutions
  • Stay updated on advancements in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows technologies to advocate for innovation
  • Develop scripts and automate routine processes for increased efficiency
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications are a plus
  • Familiarity with the Azure PaaS service stack
  • Experience working in or supporting Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
  • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
