Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows infrastructure environments
- Proven expertise in Azure core services, including VMs, networking, storage, security, and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including email, collaboration, and productivity tools
- Experience with file auditing and compliance solutions (e.g., Varonis, Netwrix, or equivalent)
- In-depth experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure and Windows infrastructure environments to meet business and operational needs
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Deploy and maintain file auditing solutions, ensuring data security and compliance
- Troubleshoot and manage servers and services in both private vSphere environments and client Microsoft Azure tenants
- Configure and administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments
- Oversee and implement best practices for patching, backups, and monitoring to ensure system availability and security
- Lead and execute migrations of systems and applications from private infrastructure to cloud platforms
- Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
- Proactively identify and address infrastructure challenges, delivering scalable and secure solutions
- Stay updated on advancements in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows technologies to advocate for innovation
- Develop scripts and automate routine processes for increased efficiency
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with the Azure PaaS service stack
- Experience working in or supporting Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
- Scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell)
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
