Requirements
- BS in Electrical or Computer engineering with Masters/PhDs preferred, 8+ years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis, information theory and ECC development
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work both with a global team and individually
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- System Design & Firmware feature development for enterprise SSD products with knowledge of NAND operation/test modes to boost performance, endurance, reliability, and power
- System/component level testing & validation on test platforms including drive-level testing & contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional (PETE, device, design) teams
- Supporting component and drive-level FA effort
- Review of product specifications, provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solution, and generate comprehensive report with bold and justified conclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- NAND device/design experience
- Knowledge of hardware design and validation
- Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Python or C++. Bash scripting as well
- Passion for problem solving
