Systems Engineer

Summary

Join our fantastic team in Technical Services to maintain storage, backup, and associated systems infrastructure. As a Senior Systems Engineer Backup, you will provide operational support, proactively manage backup systems, implement changes with best practices, document procedures, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• High level of technical knowledge across multiple backup software and solutions in particular Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, and Azure
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to document and present roadmaps, solutions, and best practices to internal teams as well as the customer

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for backup systems and associated systems
• Proactively manage backup systems with respect to capacity, performance, and availability
• Implement all changes with regard to best practice for storage systems and backup systems, as provided by the relevant vendor
• Sound documenting of procedures, solutions, and recommendations
• Mentor and assist team members on continual improvement and best practices
