Systems Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Systems Engineer at Prison Fellowship®, a Christian non-profit organization. Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant and related experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/IT or a related field
• Proficiency in administrating Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, and Office 365
• Administrate, configure and monitor security tooling
• Experience with virtualization platforms
• Proficiency in network architecture including networking, routers, firewalls, WiFi, etc
• Strong knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based environments

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for optimization
• Troubleshoot and mitigate system issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and develop solutions while ensuring seamless integration of cloud-based solutions into existing systems and processes
• Provide Tier 3 help desk support escalation
