Summary
Join KinaTrax, a leading sports technology company, as a part-time KinaTrax Stringer, working 20-30 hours per week from March to September 2025. Based in Atlanta, GA, you'll operate the KinaTrax motion capture system remotely for Major League Baseball games, capturing in-game video data and ensuring data accuracy. This role involves troubleshooting, data validation, and collaboration with game-night support staff. You'll also gain exposure to Hawk-Eye tracking systems. Requirements
- Strong understanding of baseball
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work remotely for games on weeknights and weekends
- Strong computer proficiency (Windows OS and Windows-based software)
- Ability to quickly learn and operate new software
- Laptop/computer with external monitor (multiple or widescreen monitors preferred)
- Strong & stable internet connection

- Ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, live sports environment

- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes at short notice

Responsibilities
- Operate the KinaTrax system remotely for games in all US time zones
- Capture in-game video data on a play-by-play basis using KinaTrax software
- Monitor the system, troubleshoot issues, and log information during games
- Validate all information and upload data after games
- Work closely with game-night support staff to ensure proper operation and accuracy of data
- Be available approximately one hour before first pitch and remain available until approximately one hour after the final out (5-6 hour shifts)
- Conduct pre-game checks of Hawk-Eye tracking systems
- Operate Hawk-Eye technologies during games remotely from the Atlanta office
- Identify, solve, and report technical issues promptly
- Liaise with MLB and MLB Teams personnel both on-site and remotely
- Provide real-time, quality data to MLB/MLB Teams
- Take responsibility for data integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in baseball analytics
- Knowledge of networking principles
- Previous experience with motion capture or tracking systems
- Experience in live sports production environments
