Tableau Dashboard Developer

Summary

Join Data Ideology as a Tableau Developer for a 10-12 week contract position. You will leverage your 5+ years of Tableau expertise to build three interactive dashboards using existing datasets. This remote role requires strong data visualization skills, proficiency in working with various data sources, and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the dashboards meet business needs and are optimized for performance. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, including experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
• Strong Knowledge of data visualization best practices and data storytelling
• Proficiency in working with various data sources (SQL, Excel, etc.) to integrate and visualize data
• Experience in creating high-performance, interactive dashboards that are easy to use and visually compelling
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop 3 Interactive Dashboards: Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly Tableau dashboards from provided datasets
• Data Analysis: Work with existing data, ensuring accuracy and relevance in the dashboards
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Understand business needs and incorporate feedback into the dashboard design to meet stakeholder requirements
• Optimization: Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, scalability, and ease of use
• Documentation & Reporting: Provide clear documentation on the dashboards and how to use them, as well as offer recommendations for future improvements
