Tax Senior Associate

Summary

The job is for a Tax Senior Associate at Belltower Fund Group, a remote-first company. The role involves executing federal and state income tax compliance for over 15,000 funds, identifying and resolving exceptions, and helping scale the company through product and process design from a tax perspective.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of tax experience working in the broader asset management sector, with focused experience in the venture capital or private equity space
• Experience with preparing and reviewing federal partnership returns and reviewing partnership agreements
• Ability to effectively communicate with investors and portfolio companies at high volume and with polished professionalism
• Experience identifying compliance obligations related to foreign investments, state income tax returns and foreign investor reporting obligations
• CPA or EA, or is CPA/EA eligible

Responsibilities

• Perform taxable income analysis
• Drive tax communications, both internally and externally
• Execute annual tax compliance for partnership and corporation returns
• Identify, Design, and implement process and product improvements
