Teacher Assistant

Summary

The job is for a Teacher Assistant at CCRES working remotely for the Philadelphia Virtual Academy program. The position involves communicating with students and parents, managing a student caseload, monitoring student progress, and providing academic support. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in education or related field
• Experience as an instructional assistant or teacher preferred
• Knowledge of web-based programs and apps
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to organizational, system and developmental changes with assistance from supervisor and/or colleagues

Responsibilities

• Communicate with students and parents to help them understand the program and maneuver through the PVA system
• Manage a student caseload, monitor student progress, work 1:1 or in small groups to support students academically
