The job is for a leadership position in the Channels and Experience Mobile team at Xero, where you'll lead a cross-functional team of iOS, Android, and API engineers. • Utilising OKRs to help the team set, track, and hit quarterly goals

Responsibilities

• Support your team in becoming awesome Xeros
• Ensure the team has well defined roadmaps and clear responsibilities
• Remove blockers in a timely fashion
• Create and maintain an environment where your team can perform their best work consistently
• Ensure they have all necessary information and establish effective feedback loops
• Help your team hone their engineering skills and grow individually
• Drive a culture of engagement and improvement
• Make sure your team understands and adheres to modern engineering practice
• Build and maintain a positive and constructive relationship with the product owner, designers and others
• Ensure the health of your team is monitored
• Help each of your people to become the highest performing version of themselves
• All aspects of people leadership and management
