Join IT Concepts, Inc. as a Team Lead-Advanced Analytics to support our VA-ESOM contract across the United States. This role requires leading analytics and advanced analytics efforts, innovating and automating data transformations and reporting, and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will manage projects, track budgets and schedules, and ensure adherence to standards and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in IT analytics, project management methodologies, and stakeholder engagement. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10 years of relevant IT experience are required, along with specific certifications. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or related scientific /technical discipline. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 10 years of relevant IT experience
- Experience in Project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and /or Hybrid) and stakeholder management (e.g., Weekly Progress reports, Workplan)
- Experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail
- Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations
- Expertise in managing high-pressure situations, crafting messaging during crises, and mitigating communication risks
- Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects independently
- Active PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent Certification
- Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
Responsibilities
- Lead Analytics & Advanced Analytics efforts within the Operations Triage Group to perform big data transformation (ETL) and drive actionable insights through data-driven decisions
- Innovate and automate through advanced analytics and automation techniques to enable end-to-end data transformations and reporting aligned to the Project and agency mission objectives
- Experience in test & release automation from non-production environments to Production using CI/CD, DevSecOps, etc
- Be well-versed with project mythologies & frameworks like Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall and tailor the approach based on project requirements
- Drive all assigned tasks through completion and adhere to schedules, budgets, and scopes
- Conduct regular formal reviews with the project manager
- Develop and maintain plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and schedules
- Monitor and be responsible for milestones, identify potential schedule risks and issues, and manage cost, resources, schedules, and technical challenges
- Notify the project manager of any critical issues and develop mitigating plans
- Lead the development of analytics standards and procedures with the team
- Manage approved changes, track work performance metrics, and take corrective actions
- Be the subject matter expert for Analytics and Advance analytics throughout the analytics lifecycle, providing status updates to Project Manager detailing objectives achieved, metrics, and stakeholder feedback
- Collaborate with Agency, Project Manager, and ESOM Business Operations Team members to provide a holistic picture of ESOM Business Operations, including but not limited to
- Maintain and communicate the Operations Triage group analytics overview
- Collaborate on metrics and ways of working improvement with other analytic groups within the contract and across the VA
- Engage effectively with system owners, monitoring groups, site reliability engineers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer support through regular communication, feedback collection, metric/KPI, and tracking the progress of the program, roadmap, success factors, compliance, and AES Score as agreed with the agency
