Tech Design Associate

Summary

The Associate Tech Designer for Apparel at Trafilea is responsible for using technical design skills to improve product ratings by creating and enhancing private label products. The role involves managing processes in Asana, daily interaction with Product Development, coordinating sample due dates and US fittings, and has a preference for experience in the women's apparel industry, plus size market, intimates, seamless, Cut & Sew, technical flat sketches, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Tech Design, building private label apparel products
• Knowledge in women's apparel industry
• Track, log & measure all fit samples
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of US fittings & implement

Responsibilities

• Improve product ratings to 4+ stars by creating and enhancing all private label products through technical design processes
• Manage the process in Asana, daily interaction with Product Development & coordinate all sample due dates and US fittings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building size scales, grade specifications, tech packs & CADs
• Understanding the plus size market with passion in making women feel confident is a plus
• Technical flat sketches skills is a plus
• Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
