Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a management technology consulting or IT environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong business analyst skills, with fluent data analysis background
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, consultants, and project managers to gather and understand technical information and project requirements
  • Create, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including IT Strategic Plans, Assessments, RFPs, marketing materials, presentations, and proposals
  • Analyze and assess data from our toolsets to support the narrative of the document and make it easy for the reader to comprehend
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for a non-technical audience
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, well-structured, and aligns with industry best practices
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure they are error-free and consistent in tone and style
  • Work within deadlines and project timelines to deliver documents and proposals in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of document templates and best practices for documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IT and management technology concepts, including IT strategy, business process optimization, and technology assessments
  • Experience working with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and proposal development
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles to create compelling marketing materials
