Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the insurance industry with a focus on API integrations
• Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, workflows, and business models
• Familiarity with API design principles, RESTful architecture, and API management platforms
• Proficiency in analyzing and documenting complex business processes and requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve technical issues related to API integrations
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and data integration concepts
• Familiarity with security standards and protocols related to API integrations
• Working Knowledge of Agile work management tools, such as DevOps and Jira/Confluence
• Knowledge of POSTMAN
• Good English skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, pain points, and requirements related to API integrations in the insurance industry
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications
• Work closely with development teams to design and implement API solutions that align with business requirements
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure the successful integration of APIs with existing systems and applications
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of the API integrations
• Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, system workflows, and API usage guides
• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and progress
• Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the status of API integration projects
• Identify and resolve issues and challenges related to API integrations, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business processes
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and debug API-related problems, ensuring smooth operations and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to API integrations in the insurance industry
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new opportunities for leveraging APIs to improve business processes and customer experience
