Summary

Join Logos, a movement supporting the decentralized web, as their new Technical Chief of Staff! This high-level role will support the Co-Founders, drive execution across the organization, and ensure focus on high-level strategy and vision. You will be the right-hand person to the Co-founders, supporting operational strategy and execution across multiple projects. This isn't a traditional Chief of Staff role; it requires a competent, action-oriented senior leader with exceptional EQ, comfortable with ambiguity and a reputation for problem-solving. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day operational tasks, navigate complex cross-functional relationships, and resolve conflicts. The role offers a chance to work in a remote and decentralized environment with a focus on open-source software and a high degree of autonomy.

  • Highly competent in running an organisation
  • Deeply Technical
  • Demonstrated, high emotional intelligence & diplomacy
  • Deep experience in leadership (preferably of remote, technical teams)
  • Experienced leader of leaders - able to help upskill Program leads
  • Able to build trust / rapport quickly;Β  empathetic yet assertive, listening, understanding, creating solidarity across our organisation
  • Able to focus on big picture strategy, but also to zoom into intricate detail
  • FOSS experience

Responsibilities

  • Support Co-Founders by extracting key information from meetings and written updates, ensuring that action items are recorded, planned and ultimately executed upon
  • Ensure a structured decision making process is followed for organisational decisions
  • Managerial responsibility and oversight - serving as the single point of contact to the CEO/Co-founder
  • Consistency in handling day to day operations
  • Mediator of any conflict between teams, facilitating productive communication & resolution
  • Handle any administrative issues/tasks (internal system approvals, budgets, etc)
  • End goal of alignment & achieving buy-in across the org, through observation, listening and connecting with our teams to understand priorities / pain points

Preferred Qualifications

  • Founder / Start-up experience
  • Experience working for a politically aligned organisation
  • Highly technical / background in Software Engineering
