Summary

Join our team as a technologist who will gather intelligence and competitor insights to help refine positioning and create sales tools such as competitive battlecards. You will be the authority on our market & competitive positioning, providing insights as to how we can outmaneuver the market and take share of wallet from our competitors.

Requirements

  • This position requires a significant technical understanding of networking technologies (IP networks, LAN/WAN, SASE, routing, etc.), a foundational but broad understanding of application technologies (Cloud, DevOps, Hybrid apps, application architecture, virtualization, databases) and solid experience with monitoring technologies (APM, log management, metrics, events, SIEM, synthetic, RUM, alerts, dashboards, open source, tools, etc.)
  • Strategic thinking – Analytical skills to extract insights information on customer needs and experiences from data, surveys, and interviews. Ability to synthetize multiple data points into trends and to combine technical and business data into insights. A strong desire to contribute ideas and strategies to further product and marketing demand
  • Comfortable with strategic messaging, competitive insights and hands-on tactical content creation. The ideal candidate has previous product marketing experience for a B2B software solution or 3+ years of experience in articulating competitive positioning in a line of B2B technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences. Translation ability turning conceptual ideas into compelling creative concepts and high-impact competitive content. Experience writing clear and compelling documents that are also technically sound
  • Collaborative with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive and market research to optimize our product fit and competitiveness in the market
  • Define and support go-to-market messaging to differentiate our platform and directly contribute to Catchpoint's success. Support product positioning and strategy, assist in product launches, optimize buyer personas, and gather customer insights
  • Communicate the value proposition and differentiation of the Catchpoint IPM Platform to the sales team. Ensure sales has the necessary information and collateral to drive growth by developing sales tools and content including product briefs, FAQs, sales presentations, and datasheets
  • Manage and support the continued updating and evolution of our Klue Competitive Portal
  • Tell our story through the development of Competitive Campaigns and marketing collateral including videos, blogs, eBooks, and webinars
