As a Technical Manager, you will lead the development of a leading Tours and Activities reservation system. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commercial software development
- 3+ years leading and / or managing others
- Experience communicating with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience developing web based applications
- Demonstrated excellence participating on cross functional teams in fast-paced environments, both in terms of technical leadership and hands-on coding
- Excellent ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions
- Strong analytical skills and desire to write clean, correct, and efficient code
- Excellent command of tools and expertise for troubleshooting production issues
- Strong experience around building scalable and distributed software and data systems
- Strong experience of data and software architecture/designs, especially real time distributed data streaming designs
- Experience with Java, TypeScript, SQL
Responsibilities

- Spread the Word: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, commitments, and timelines
- Manage Projects: Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget
- Lead by Example: Show leadership as a hands-on developer in multiple layers of the software stack and data stack. Perform code and design reviews
